BORA-7 Ceramic Abrasive Belts 2" x 48" (50 x 1220mm)

These premium ceramic belts are designed to grind the hardest steel and are made with over 90% ceramic grain on a Y-weight backing designed for alloyed and stainless steel with maximum material removal in mind.

The belts can be used wet or dry, and the supersized coating contains active filler to prevent burning. The grits available for the BORA-7 belts are 24, 36, 40, 60, 80, and 120.

These impressive 2" x 48" (50 x 1220mm) Ceramic Belts are designed to be run at high speed with moderate to heavy pressure to create fracturing of the grit and outlast most other ceramics. They require significant pressure to create fracturing of the grit and outlast most other ceramic belts. BORA-7 performs best on high-speed grinders like 2" X 48" (50 x 1220mm) and is not recommended on slower grinders.

The BORA-7 belts are suitable for dry and wet grinding in high-pressure conditions, removing burrs from forgings and castings, metalworking, grinding for weld parts or joints, and working with super alloys, stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, aluminium, all metal, non-ferrous (copper, brass, tin, silver and gold), heavy deburring / stainless steel (SUS 400,300) / air jet blade / heat-sensitive alloy / low carbon steel / hammerhead / nickel and stainless steel plate and roll / nickel alloy turbine blade.

These belts have high grinding performance, extended belt life, improved productivity, less operator fatigue, higher cut rates, and cooler grinding due to the high stretch-resistant and very stable backing material. Please use adequate PPE when using belt grinders.
