Nikken Japan Abrasive Sheets are high-quality silicone carbide sandpapers that can be used for sanding and grinding various materials. These abrasive sheets are suitable for both wet and dry grinding applications, making them versatile and adaptable for different situations.

Silicone carbide sandpaper is known for being the hardest and sharpest common abrasive, with razor-sharp grains that can sand metals, marbles, glass, stones, corks, medium-density fibreboards, and plastics with minimal pressure. It works well on rough surfaces and for polishing, and can be used in wet sanding operations.

Most people use silicone carbide sandpaper in conjunction with aluminium oxide. You can perform rough sanding with aluminium oxide abrasives and finish off the project with silicone carbide to produce a smooth surface finish without wearing down your sandpaper.

These abrasive sheets are ideal for removing burrs from forgings and castings, grinding weld parts or joints, and working with various metals and alloys, including super alloys, stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, aluminium, all metal, and non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, tin, silver, and gold. They are also suitable for heavy deburring, stainless steel (SUS 400,300), air jet blade, heat-sensitive alloy, low carbon steel, hammerhead, nickel and stainless steel plate and roll, and nickel alloy turbine blade.
