The floor of the Shapton Pond is made of textured glass to prevent the sharpening stone holder from slipping during use. The Pond itself is constructed with two layers of tempered glass housed in a heavy-duty rubber outer frame casing. It effectively contains the water used during sharpening, making the clean-up process quick and easy.
Please note that the Stone Holders are not included with the Sharpening Pond.
